For seventeen years, Evangelical church life has been the only world Luke Hamilton has known. As the student worship leader of his youth group, all eyes are on him, and his reputation is everything. At his private Christian school, he’s been the star of the musicals for three years running, hoping to follow that spotlight to college, where he can step further into his identity as an actor and leave the weight of the church’s expectations behind.

But Luke’s inner life tells a different story.
